X12CrMo5 is a high-alloy ferritic steel (Material Number 1.7362) designed under the DIN 17175 and EN 10216-2 standards. It is the European equivalent to ASTM A335 Grade P5. This grade is characterized by its high Chromium content (5%), which provides superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation in high-temperature environments.

Due to its robust thermal properties, X12CrMo5 round bars are widely used in:
Refinery Equipment: Cracking units and high-temperature furnace tubes.
Chemical Plants: Components exposed to hot hydrogen or corrosive gasses.
Power Plants: Superheater tubes and high-pressure steam headers.
Mechanical Engineering: High-stress components for hot-working machinery.
Exceptional Heat Resistance: Optimized for continuous service at temperatures up to 600C.
Corrosion & Scaling Resistance: The 5% Chromium content offers a significant advantage over P11/P22 grades in oxidizing atmospheres.
Hydrogen Service Safety: Excellent resistance to high-temperature hydrogen attack.
Custom Processing: Mention if you offer these as Annealed, Normalized and Tempered, or Quenched.
