
Incoloy / Inconel 909 (UNS N19909) is an age-hardenable nickel-iron-cobalt controlled-expansion superalloy. It provides high strength combined with a low, constant coefficient of thermal expansion up to 425°C and a high modulus of elasticity. The addition of silicon improves notch rupture strength and heat treatment characteristics over earlier low-expansion alloys like Inconel 903.

Quality Requirements: Must be strictly segregated from chromium-containing superalloys (such as Inconel 718, 625, or 939) to preserve its zero-chromium low-expansion chemistry profile. Free of oil, dirt, thermal coatings, scale, and non-metallic contamination.
