Recycling Guidelines
Keep segregated from standard Inconel 600 or 625 (Inconel 702 contains significantly higher aluminum content for oxidation resistance).
Melt processing typically requires Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) due to reactive aluminum and titanium elements.
Must be free from iron contamination, lubricants, moisture, oxide scale, and foreign non-ferrous metals.
Positive Material Identification (PMI) / XRF and Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) verification recommended prior to melt charging.
