Magnetic Response: Fully magnetic.
Typical Scrap Forms: Solid bar cutoffs, gear forging blanks, shaft end-cuts, aircraft component drops, ring forgings, and clean machine turnings (chips and borings).
Scrap Quality Requirements: Solids and turnings must be strictly segregated from carbon steel and lower-nickel alloy grades (such as 4140 or 8620), clean and dry, free of grinding sludge, heavy oil, slag, mill scale, paint, and non-ferrous attachments.
