5154B (AlMg3.5Mn0.3) is a high-performance, non-heat-treatable aluminium-magnesium alloy. Under the DIN and Werkstoff-Nummer (WNr) systems, it is classified as a "special structural" alloy, designed to bridge the gap between the moderate strength of 5754 (AlMg3) and the high-strength marine-grade 5083 (AlMg4.5).

The "B" designation indicates a refined chemical control, specifically optimized for weldability and low-temperature toughness.
